Pupils from Year 1 all the way up to Year 6 recently took to the stage for our very first Rocksteady Music School Music Concert and they absolutely rocked it! 🤩

Over the past few months, pupils have been working hard in weekly sessions:
🎶 Choosing their own band name
🎸 Testing out a range of instruments
🎤 Picking the song they wanted to perform

Pupils put all that teamwork, practice and courage into two amazing performances in front of parents, fellow pupils and staff. The energy, confidence and joy on stage were unforgettable! 💥

Before Easter, our pupils had an exciting visit from Olympic and Commonwealth medalist, Amy Smith! 🙌🥇🤼

The children participated in workout sessions led by Amy and gave it their all, working hard, having fun and learning some truly inspiring lessons about perseverance and resilience! 👏
